As part of its campaign to recruit disabled researchers for the year 2025, CNRS is opening up the possibility of contractual recruitment, in application of article L352-4 of the general civil service code. The general conditions of access prior to recruitment are set out in Decree no. 95-979 of August 25, 1995, as amended, on the recruitment of disabled workers in the civil service.
The contract recruitment procedure is designed to facilitate the recruitment of disabled staff as researchers at the CNRS. It enables them to be recruited on a one-year contract leading to tenure. It is a complementary and exceptional route to the civil service, but does not replace the competitive entrance examination.
In line with the standard research competitions, the assessment of candidates for contractual recruitment on the basis of their skills is the responsibility of the relevant sections of the National Committee.
