As part of its integration policy for people with disabilities, the CNRS opens dedicated recruitment opportunities every year.

Each year, the CNRS opens up recruitment opportunities on a contractual basis, in application of article L352-4 of the French civil service code. The general conditions of access prior to recruitment are set out in Decree no. 95-979 of August 25, 1995, as amended, on the recruitment of disabled workers in the civil service.

The recruitment procedure by contract is an additional, exceptional means of entering the civil service and does not replace the competitive recruitment process which is the standard and preferred means of recruitment. It is designed to facilitate the recruitment of young scientists with disabilities. It enables recruitment for contractual positions for a one-year period which can lead to permanent status.

In line with the standard research competitions, the assessment of candidates for contractual recruitment, based on their skills, is the responsibility of the relevant sections of the National Committee.

You will find below a list of all the steps that will provide you with useful information about the recruitment process. Please note that each year, the recruitment of researchers (M/F) and doctoral students (M/F) by contract takes place in February, and that of engineers and technicians (M/F), in June.
