Nearly 18,000 engineers and technicians (F/H) work in research and research support activities, or in administrative functions (in laboratories, regional delegations and at CNRS headquarters). Engineers and technicians (F/H) are also recruited through internal competitive examinations.
The internal competition is a means of internal promotion and, to a lesser extent, internal mobility for CNRS staff. It is a way of recognizing and rewarding the professional commitment of engineers and technicians.

Job offers and candidate area
The internal competition campaign runs from Monday January 20 to Thursday February 20, 2025 at 1pm.
Only registered candidates can access their application file in the candidate area.
Competition procedure
- January-February: posting of offers and online registration.
- March-April: eligibility phase (examination of applications by the jury).
- April: admission phase (auditions for candidates declared eligible, in person at Gif-sur-Yvette, except in special cases).
- May 1 : appointment and assumption of duties.

Results are notified individually to all candidates. You can consult the following results below as the competition progresses:
