As a major player in fundamental research on a global scale, the CNRS recruits a significant number of permanent researchers each year through competitive recruitment procedures, based on criteria of excellence. The 270 open positions cover a wide range of scientific fields: human and social sciences, biology, chemistry, mathematics, physics, nuclear and high-energy physics, engineering and systems sciences, information sciences, sciences of the Universe, ecology and environmental sciences.
