These contracts are specially financed as part of the national integration policy for disabled people. They are intended to complement the existing global offer, and do not exclude other types of training that may be granted to students with disabilities who are carrying out a thesis project within the framework of traditional doctoral contract funding.
Beneficiaries of these contracts are hosted, according to the rhythm of the academic year, in a research unit belonging to or associated with the CNRS. Doctoral contracts are awarded for a period of 3 years, subject each year to re-registration in the doctoral school. Remuneration is a minimum of €2,135 gross per month. If the doctoral student is entrusted with a complementary activity (teaching, for example) in addition to his or her doctoral research activity, the remuneration will be higher.
The scheme is open to all research disciplines.
In operational terms, the selection campaign is the responsibility of the HRD and is organized by the national disability correspondent within the CSR department:
cnrs-handicap.correspondant.national@cnrs.fr
If you have any questions, please indicate in the subject line [Questions - 2025 doctoral campaign].
