CNRS at the Impact Job Fair at ChangeNOW 2025

CNRS will be present at ChangeNOW with several conferences and a stand at the Impact Job Fair. See you from April 24 to 26, at the Grand Palais (Paris) and on the nearby quays of the Seine.
An international trade show bringing together major players from industry, academia, associations, politics, culture and the media, ChangeNOW showcases solutions for a more sustainable world. Already present last year, CNRS renews its partnership as Major Ecosystem Patner and increases its participation through five round tableswith Antoine Petit, CEO of CNRS, on the challenges of AI in the context of environmental challenges. Researchers from the CNRS will also be speaking on key themes for the ecological transition, such as the water cycle and the oceans and their role in global climate balance.
This year, CNRS will have its own stand at the Impact Job Fair, to be held all day (9-18h) on Saturday April 26 at the Grand Palais. This recruitment fair dedicated to impact enables some 5,000 candidates looking for "meaningful" jobs to meet some 150 companies committed to the ecological and social transition, offering over 600 vacancies in a variety of sectors, from tech & innovation to support functions, via research & development. For CNRS, it will be an opportunity to present its missions and recruitment offer, and to meet potential candidates. Admission to the Impact Job Fair is free for students, and other participants can take advantage of a 30% discount (for Saturday only) with the code: CN25XCNRS. The free or reduced-rate ticket gives access to the entire ChangeNOW show on Saturday.
New for the 2025 edition of the show, part of the event will be free and open to the general public. The quays of the Seine near the Grand Palais (Port des Champs Élysées) will feature an interactive area, L'odyssée de l'eau, where visitors will be able to take part in a range of activities designed to raise their awareness of sustainable development issues.
CNRS: committed to finding innovative and sustainable solutions to major contemporary environmental and social challenges
Through its research and innovations, CNRS actively contributes to the global objectives set by the United Nations (UN) as part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). CNRS's involvement in national and international initiatives such as the National Observatory on the Effects of Global Warming and the Foundation for Biodiversity Research testify to its commitment to providing scientific and practical solutions for the preservation of our planet.
CNRS is also a major contributor of data used by the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) andIPBES (Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystems), two key institutions in global efforts on climate and biodiversity.
It pilots or co-pilots several Priority Research Programs and Equipment (PEPR) dedicated to various societal and environmental challenges, such as decarbonization of industry, recycling and water resources.
Finally, CNRS is working to reduce its own environmental impact, with the implementation of a low-carbon transition plan, the appointment of a scientific delegate for environmental transition and risks, and the creation of a network of sustainable development referents in all its entities.
