Bronze medal 2022 : Etienne Meunier
March 01, 2023
"Having discovered computer science late in life, I seized the opportunity offered by the CNRS to make this passion my profession. Today, I build secure information systems for research. Attracted by UNIX operating systems, in particular Linux, and adhering to the KISS (Keep it simple, stupid) principle, I set out to create simple, robust, efficient, easily transferable computer architectures that are directly derived from users' needs. As a technical team leader, I am committed to the development of my colleagues in their functions and to supporting them in their careers. I never stop putting my experience and skills at the service of the many research projects to which I contribute. "
